Terms of Use

1. Agreement

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the Python CodePad mobile application and related services (the “App”) provided by Nexlyco (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. The App

Python CodePad is an on-device Python development environment for iOS. Features may include a code editor, local Python execution, debugging tools, package management, documentation access, and optional AI-assisted coding features. Features may vary by device, OS version, and subscription status.

Code you write and run is processed primarily on your device. Network access may be used for optional features such as AI assistance, documentation, package downloads, and subscription management through Apple.

3. Accounts & eligibility

You must be able to enter a binding agreement under applicable law. If you use the App on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

You are responsible for activity that occurs through your device and Apple ID in connection with the App, including purchases and restores.

4. Subscriptions & billing

Certain features require a paid subscription (for example, Developer plan). Subscriptions are offered and billed through the Apple App Store using StoreKit. Payment, renewal, cancellation, and refunds are handled by Apple under Apple’s terms and policies.

• Subscriptions may auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period in your Apple ID subscription settings.
• Prices shown in the App are set in App Store Connect and may vary by region and currency.
• Restoring purchases uses Apple’s purchase history for your Apple ID.

Unless required by law, fees are non-refundable by Nexlyco directly; request refunds through Apple where available.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the App. Prohibited conduct includes, without limitation:

• Attempting to reverse engineer, disrupt, or abuse the App or related services except as permitted by law.
• Using the App to develop, distribute, or execute malware, unauthorized access tools, or other unlawful content.
• Infringing others’ intellectual property, privacy, or other rights.
• Attempting to bypass subscription, licensing, or security controls.
• Using AI features to generate or distribute illegal, harmful, or abusive content.

You are solely responsible for the code you write, run, import, or share using the App.

6. AI features

Optional AI features may send prompts and limited context you provide to third-party AI providers to generate responses. AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your purpose. You must review and test any generated code before relying on it. We do not guarantee that AI features will be available continuously or produce any particular result.

7. Intellectual property

The App, branding, and related materials are owned by Nexlyco or its licensors. These Terms do not transfer ownership of any intellectual property to you. You retain ownership of code and content you create in the App, subject to rights needed for us to operate the App (for example, transmitting prompts to AI providers when you use those features).

8. Disclaimer

THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that Python execution, packages, or AI output will meet your requirements.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NEXLYCO AND ITS AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR BUSINESS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE APP WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US FOR THE APP IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM (OR, IF GREATER, THE MINIMUM AMOUNT REQUIRED BY LAW).

10. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use of the App after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms, except where additional consent is required by law.
