Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

This Privacy Policy explains how Nexlyco (“we”, “us”, or “our”) handles information in connection with the Python CodePad iOS app (the “App”). Contact: info@nexlyco.com.

2. Information we collect

Depending on how you use the App, we may process:

• Content you create: Python source files, folders, snippets, editor preferences, and similar workspace data stored on your device (and, if you export or share files, wherever you choose to send them).
• Diagnostics & device info: limited technical information that Apple or the App may use for crash reporting, performance, and compatibility (for example, OS version). We aim to minimize collection.
• Purchase status: subscription entitlement information provided by Apple via StoreKit (we do not receive your full payment card details).
• AI prompts: if you use AI features, the text/code context you submit for assistance may be transmitted to our AI provider to generate a response.
• Support communications: if you email us, we receive the content of your message and your email address.

We do not require you to create a Nexlyco account to use core on-device editing and execution features.

3. How we use information

We use information to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the App and its features.
• Process and restore subscriptions through Apple.
• Deliver optional AI assistance when you request it.
• Respond to support requests and enforce our Terms.
• Comply with legal obligations.

4. AI features

When you use AI features, prompts and related context you choose to send are transmitted to a third-party AI provider to generate responses. Do not include secrets, passwords, API keys, or personal data you do not want processed by that provider. AI providers process data under their own privacy terms. We use AI solely to fulfill your in-app requests.

5. Subscriptions

Purchases are processed by Apple. Apple’s privacy policy applies to payment processing. We receive confirmation of subscription status needed to unlock paid features; we do not store your full payment credentials.

6. Sharing

We share information only as needed to operate the App:

• Apple: App Store distribution, StoreKit subscriptions, and platform services.
• AI providers: only when you use AI features, for the prompts/context you submit.
• Service providers: hosting or analytics vendors if we use them, under appropriate agreements.
• Legal: when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security.

We do not sell your personal information.

7. Retention

Workspace files and settings generally remain on your device until you delete them or remove the App. Support emails are retained as needed to resolve your request and for legitimate business records. AI providers may retain prompts according to their policies; avoid sending sensitive data.

8. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect information in our control. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Protect your device with a passcode and keep iOS updated.

9. Children

The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact info@nexlyco.com and we will take appropriate steps.

10. Your choices & rights

You can control many data practices directly: delete local files in the App or by uninstalling, manage subscriptions in Apple ID settings, and choose not to use AI features. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain processing of personal information. Contact us to make a request. You may also have rights under Apple’s privacy tools for App Store data.

11. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date when we do. Continued use of the App after an update means you acknowledge the revised Policy, except where additional consent is required by law.
